This has been a long offseason for both Jimmy Butler and the Minnesota Timberwolves to say the least. It all started after the T-Wolves lost their playoff series against the Houston Rockets. After the conclusion of their final game, Butler decided to fly home by himself instead of with the team. No one thought too much of this at the time, but this would be the first of many instances throughout the offseason of Butler showing his frustration.
Not too long after the season ended, there were many reports about Butler requesting a trade.
