NORMAN, Okla. – The 2021-22 Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars for NJCAA have been announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America, with two Gaels among the 17 NJCAA athletes from eight schools to earn the All-America Scholar honors.
Dylan VandeVeer and Michael Slesinski were both named 2021-22 Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars. Both were grad students in the 2021-22 season and each scored highly academically this past year.
VandeVeer finished with a 3.411 GPA while majoring in Business Administration and Slesinski had a 3.317 earning his Professional MBA.
To be eligible for Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their Associate's Degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA.
