STOCKTON, Calif. — After two rounds of competition at Stockton Country Club, Saint Mary's sits in fifth at 13-under and is only five strokes back of the leader, BYU, heading into the final day of the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational.
THE LEADERBOARD
The Cougars overtook first place on the leaderboard Friday with strong play towards the end of the round. BYU combined for a 7-under score on the last four holes to jump ahead of yesterday's leader, San Jose State.
Despite shooting 9-under for the day, the Gaels dropped one place in the standings although they remain squarely in contention with the four teams in front of them.
