RENO, Nev. – Michael Slesinski of The Saint Mary's Golf Team's shot up the leader board on day two, finishing tied for the best score in round three and eighth overall at the 2021 Wolf Pack Classic hosted by the University of Nevada.
Slesinski climbed 20 spots on the player leader board after shooting a 65 with a eagle on day two to finish seven-under par. He was just five strokes out of the top spot overall with a score of 215 for the tournament, while making par 36 times.
With temps in the 30s and 40s, winds of 15-25 mph, and snow and hail showers through the first two rounds, the reigning WCC Golfer of the Month fought through the conditions of day one to put himself in a position to strike on day two.
