MORAGA, Calif. — Saint Mary's Golf will return to the Cactus State for the first time since late January to take part in the Wyoming Cowboy Classic, played at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Course in Maricopa. This is the second consecutive season that the Gaels have taken part in the Cowboy Classic, as they took home 15th place out of a 21 team field, led by Kristian Bressum's 219 (+3). Last year's event was held at a different location, however, taking place at the Whirlwind Golf Club in Chandler, Arizona.
This season's tournament will feature 23 teams in total, including seven team ranked in the latest top-100 (Saint Mary's, Cal State Fullerton, Grand Canyon, Kansas, Kennesaw State, Long Beach State, and UNLV).
