LOST PINES, Texas -- Four Saint Mary's golfers are among the top 10 individuals and the Gaels own a seven stroke lead going into tomorrow's final round of the Jim West Intercollegiate at Wolfdancer Golf Club.
The Gaels, looking to defend their team title at the event, fired rounds of 285-277 to turn in a 36-hole score of 14-under par 562 and leads runner-up McNeese State by 7 strokes. Rice and North Texas are tied for third place at 2-under par, the only other teams that registered scores below par on the first day of competition.
