STOCKTON, Calif. - The Saint Mary's Golf Team will make a short trip east to play in the Visit Stockton Invitational hosted by the University of the Pacific from October 21-23.
The Gaels hope to avoid the same rough weather conditions they had in Reno, Nev. for the Wolf Pack Classic where they were hit with snow, hail, and wind in their most recent tournament. But there is rain in the forecast this week, with an especially high probability for precipitation on Friday.
The team toughed out the difficult conditions on day one in Reno to finish the tournament well with every Gael improving their score on day two, including Michael Slesinski climbing 20 spots on the player leader board after shooting a 65 with an eagle on day two to finish seven-under par.
