MORAGA, Calif. -- The Saint Mary's golf team returns to action Monday against some of the top college golf programs in the country at the 2016 Prestige at PGA WEST in LaQuinta.
The 52nd ranked Gaels are one of nine teams in the 14-team field rated among the top 55 in the country, according to the latest Golfstat.com rankings. Four teams, co-host Stanford (5), Duke (6), USC (7) and Arizona State (10) are ranked among the top 10.
The rest of the field includes No. 25 San Diego State, LSU (27), Pepperdine (41), East Tennessee State (51), co-host UC Davis (96), Iowa State (104), Gonzaga (118), San Diego (129) and the University of Stirling from Scotland.
