TUCSON, Ariz. — The Gaels closed out the Arizona Intercollegiate on Tuesday and finished seventh out of the competitive 14-team field. Saint Mary's surpassed No. 44 Long Beach State in the tournament by two strokes.
THE LEADERBOARD
Saint Mary's shot 6-over in the final round to end play at 12-over overall. No. 11 Arizona took the team title at 21-under and were trailed by No. 12 Baylor (12-under) and No. 17 Washington (even) to round out the top three.
Blake Hathcoat led the team with a 1-under final round to wrap up the event 2-under and tie for ninth in the 84-man field.
