MORAGA, Calif. — Men's golfer Ethan Farnam has been named the Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week after leading the Gaels to a third place finish at the Arizona Intercollegiate earlier in the week.
Farnam was Saint Mary's top performer and shot a 10-under across three rounds to finish fourth of out an 80-competitor field. The sophomore was consistent throughout the competition with round scores of 69-67-67 and had 15 birdies, which was tied for fifth most.
Saint Mary's third place result was the team's best finish so far in the 2018-19 season.
