BREMERTON, Wash. — In need of a solid performance to secure a spot at the NCAA Regionals, Saint Mary's Golf got out on the right foot, as they sit tied in third place through the first 36 holes with an impressive -15 score. The Gaels came into the tournament with the fifth highest ranking of the eight WCC teams, but continue to defy expectations, outplaying San Francisco and tied with LMU, who both outrank them.
Through the first nine holes of the day, the Gaels struggled to find their footing, sitting in sixth out of the field of eight.
