MORAGA, Calif. — Dan Fotu has been named the Bay Alarm Student-Athlete of the Week for helping Saint Mary's go 2-0 last week against UTEP and San Jose State.
Fotu began the week by scoring nine points against the Miners on 4-of-7 shooting in 17 minutes of play. The junior also had two blocks and four rebounds on the defensive end to help SMC win 73-61.
On Friday night versus San Jose State, Fotu completed his first career double-double with 15 points and 10 boards. His rebound total matched a career-high while he came just one point short of tying his personal-best in scoring.
