MORAGA, Calif. — Continuing to build on her stellar beginning to the 2019-20 season, Emily Codding was named this week's West Coast Conference Player of the Week for her performance from Sunday night's narrow defeat against Kansas.
Codding was the leading scorer and rebounder for Saint Mary's with 27 points and 12 rebounds, both representing career-bests. The double-double is her second-straight and her fourth of the season. She shot 12-16 from the floor and also stuffed the stat sheet with three assists, three blocks, and one steal. The Gaels led by as many as five points in the fourth quarter before falling to Kansas 86-81.
