MORAGA, Calif. — Back above 0.500 for the first time since mid-March, Saint Mary's (14-13) will make their third out-of-state trip of the season to the Gem State of Idaho to take part in the Boise State Classic. At the event, the Gaels will renew hostilities with Portland (4-8) and Colorado Mesa (16-7), both of which they have defeated this season. They will also see Cal State Bakersfield (9-15) and host Boise State (14-10) for the first time this year.
A week ago, the Gaels went 3-1, defeating regional rivals San Jose State, Santa Clara and Sacramento State, while falling in a 4-1 decision to ninth ranked Cal.
