SAN BRUNO, Calif. — Lindsey Knudsen earned a major individual award for the second straight year and the Saint Mary's beach volleyball team saw five players honored Wednesday on the 2017 All-West Coast Conference Beach Volleyball teams.
Knudsen was named the 2017 WCC Defensive Player of the Year, as well as being tabbed to the All-WCC first team for the second straight season. She was named the WCC Freshman of the Year in 2016. The sophomore teamed with fellow second-year player Payton Rund at the Gaels' No. 1 pairs position all season long.
