MORAGA, Calif. — Eight runs, nine hits and two errors made for a wild ninth inning finish Tuesday, as the Saint Mary’s baseball team overcame a furious rally by UC Davis to earn their third walk-off win of the season in a 7-6 non-conference victory over the Aggies at Louis Guisto Field.
UC Davis (8-22) sent 10 batters to the plate in a six-run top of the ninth that gave it the lead after being shut out for the previous eight innings by Saint Mary’s starter Cameron Neff. The Aggies took advantage of two Saint Mary’s errors in the frame, scoring four unearned runs.
