MORAGA, Calif. — Wet weather had the final say Sunday in the series between the Saint Mary’s baseball team and Utah, as rain washed out the continuation of Saturday’s game two and Sunday’s scheduled game three at Louis Guisto Field.
There is no scheduled date for a make-up of either of the games at this time. Saint Mary’s (8-6) and Utah (3-10) were able to get in one full game of a doubleheader Saturday after rain postponed the series for a day on Friday. The Gaels won game one 7-2 behind three home runs. The teams started game two, only to have it halted due to rain in the bottom of the seventh inning.
