LAS VEGAS — The offense continued to roll Sunday for the Saint Mary’s baseball team with five players getting multiple hits in a 16-hit barrage that led the Gaels to a 9-3 win over Nebraska Omaha on the final day of the UNLV Classic at Wilson Stadium.
The Gaels (2-0) also had 10 hits in Friday’s Opening Day win over UC Davis. Saint Mary’s finished the UNLV Classic with 15 runs on 26 hits and a 2-0 record after Saturday’s game was rained out. Seven players had multi-hit games over the weekend with six players getting hits in both games.
