MORAGA, Calif. – Back from its longest stretch away from home this season, the Saint Mary’s baseball team returns to Louis Guisto Field Friday to open a three-game home series versus Pac-12 member Utah.
The Gaels (7-6) have not played at home since Feb. 21, a stretch of 19 days come Friday. Rain has messed with the Gaels’ schedule this week, first cancelling their mid-week game at San Jose State and then adjusting this weekend’s series. Instead of three games in three days, Saint Mary’s and Utah will now play a single game at 2 p.
