MORAGA, Calif. — For the second and third time in as many tries, Saint Mary's (30-16, 13-5 WCC) had to play from behind against the Pepperdine Waves (12-32, 6-12 WCC). That said, just like in the first game, the Gaels did not fold under that pressure, regaining the lead in both halves of today's twin bill to complete the sweep of the Waves and punch their ticket into the WCC Tournament. The Gaels sit tied with Portland in second place in the conference, trailing San Diego by 2.5 games with two weekends left in the regular season.
