There is a wealth of experienced returning players. The weekend rotation is comprised of three starters with sub-3.00 ERAs from a year ago: Daulton Jefferies (6-5, 2.92), Ryan Mason (6-3, 2.98) and left-hander Matt Ladrech (7-4, 2.67). Erik Martinez is the likely closer. He had a 1.56 ERA with 40 strikeouts in 34 innings as a freshman.
