MORAGA, Calif. – Former Saint Mary's pitcher and outfielder, Tony Gonsolin, is set to make his Major League Debut for the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday, June 26. He is tabbed for the start against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Dodger Stadium.
The Vacaville, Calif. native was a four-year star for Saint Mary's between 2013 and 2016 before being selected by the Dodgers in the ninth round of the 2016 MLB Draft. As a pitcher for the Gaels, he led SMC in saves in both 2015 (seven) and 2016 (six) and posted a 3.86 earned run average in his senior season.
