STOCKTON, Calif. – Saint Mary's got a good outing from on Saturday afternoon, but the Tigers extended their lead late and kept the Gaels to just two runs in a 7-2 loss to Pacific.
Starting pitcher Roberts was a little shaky in the first inning allowing back-to-back Singles, a walk, a wild pitch, and another single to put Pacific up 2-0. But Roberts would settle in after that, allowing just one more hit and no more runs finishing with just two walks and six Ks.
The Gaels got on the board in the top of the second.
