MORAGA, Calif. – Saint Mary's baseball opened the 2019 season with an exclamation point, sweeping Washington State for the program's first-ever four-game sweep of a Pac-12 team. Over the weekend, juniors and Preseason All-Americans Ken Waldichuk and Kevin Milam both put together impressive performances, earning them a sweep of the West Coast Conference Weekly Honors.
Milam (who was named WCC Player of the Week) batted .643 (9-for-14) in his first four contests of the season. He delivered five runs batted in including a 2-run home run in his first at-bat. He also produced three doubles, six runs, walked five times, and put together a slugging percentage of 1.
