SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. –– The Gaels split the doubleheader against Cal Poly on Saturday as they dropped game one 6-2 and won game two 7-1.
HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME ONE
- Joe Vranesh hit a leadoff double to left field in the top of the fourth inning. The next two batters got out before Jack Murphy hit a single to left center that scored Vranesh and gave the Gaels the 1-0 advantage.
- The Mustangs put runners on the corners with no outs to begin the bottom of the fifth inning.
