SEATTLE – Saint Mary's Baseball took three of four games at Seattle University this weekend, winning the finale 15-4 to secure their third-straight series win to start the season.
The Gaels racked up 13 hits for their 15 runs, pouncing on any mistake the Redhawks made to increase their advantage. They struck first again in game four on an RBI double by Christian Almanza to drive in Gavin Napier who was hit by a pitch.
SMC took advantage of some Redhawks mistakes in the third inning after Brian Duroff reached on an error, Coleman Schmidt tripled him home and then scored on a wild pitch for a 3-0 lead.
