MORAGA, Calif. –– The Gaels completed the three-game sweep of Pacific on Sunday after a strong, nine-run third inning propelled SMC to a 12-7 victory.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Tigers got started in the top of the first inning as they loaded the bases after two HBP and a single to center field. The following batter grounded a single to left field and scored the runners at second and third to give the Tigers the early, 2-0 lead and their first lead of the series. Pacific then laid down a sacrifice bunt to advance the runners and give the Gaels the first out of the inning.
