Back in September 2018, my heart was forcibly torn out as a Raiders fan when Khalil Mack, a probable Hall of Fame player, was traded. He not only was traded, the organization of the Raiders disrespected him by not paying him his much-deserved extension. He was sent to the Chicago Bears in exchange for two first-round draft picks, 2019 and 2020. As a Raiders fan, I did not think anything in return for Khalil Mack was worth the price of him, especially some random draft picks.
As the Bears began tearing up the league last season, I steadily watched the Raiders’ new draft pick fall down the draft order each week.
