USABMNT Edges France

The United States Men's Basketball Team won its first two games of preliminary round play by an average of 50 points, but has seen much different competition in it's last two victories - winning by a combined 6 points.

DeMarcus Cousins tipped-off the game with a thunderous jam to give the U.S. an early advantage. He scored four quick points in the first five minutes while turning the tables on France’s starting center Rudy Gobert. While it was Cousins who had been struggling with foul trouble as of late, he was able to draw two early fouls on Gobert.
