As Kings forward Anthony Tolliver begins acknowledging his NBA idols – Michael Jordan, Hakeem Olajuwon, Kevin Garnett – he spends far more time analyzing the impact of a player with a less-heralded basketball career.
“Junior Bridgeman is an entrepreneurial role model of mine,” says Tolliver of the 12-year NBA veteran who averaged 13.6 points per game. “He’s a guy who played in the NBA for a while, and was able to save up … He took what he had and invested it into a couple of Wendy’s restaurants, learned the business and just continued to flip his cash flows into more and more.
