Game recognizes game, and that’s what former Kings guard Reggie Theus did Tuesday morning by giving current Kings guard Rajon Rondo a shout-out for breaking his Sacramento-era record for assists in a single game.
Congratulations to Rondo on breaking my single-game assists record! I’m proud the record stood for a long time https://t.co/DcGZOsZAvk

Theus, who was on the very first Kings roster when the team made the move to Sacramento in 1985, was the previous record holder for assists in a game when he dropped 18 dimes in three different games during the 1985-86 season.
