To begin the 2019-20 campaign, the Sacramento Kings had high expectations for themselves. After coming off a season which had the team one spot shy of the playoffs, as well as finishing an offseason adding more depth to their roster, the mentality was playoffs or bust entering this year.
Unfortunately, the Kings started the season slow as they were losers of their first five games, causing the Kings community to panic and protest for people’s jobs within the organization.
The mess began when Sacramento faced off against the Phoenix Suns in the season opener, which resulted in a blowout loss.
