Conversations between the Sacramento Kings and Dallas Mavericks free agent point guard Rajon Rondo are getting interesting, to say the least. It’s unclear whether that is the good kind of interesting, or the bad kind of interesting, but something is happening behind the scenes.
Ailene Voisin started the morning off by saying that, surprisingly; DeMarcus Cousins was not a fan of Rondo. Cousins had said the complete opposite in an interview with Bill Simmons last year.
I’m not going to put words in anyone’s mouth, or pretend like I know the motives behind a tweet, but that came so out of nowhere that it felt to me like someone was telling Voisin that this Rondo thing may not happen.
