Harry Giles watched all 82 games the Kings played last season. He saw the times the Kings were pushed around as opponents took the hit-first mentality out on Sacramento on a regular basis.
That's something Giles doesn't have to sit and watch anymore. He plans to do something about it.
Giles sat out last season as the Kings wanted him to get stronger after knee multiple knee injuries. Giles made his NBA debut Monday in the California Classic summer league, finishing with 13 points and three rebounds in a 98-93 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers at Golden 1 Center.
