So much for a vacation: De’Aaron Fox is a late addition to All-Star Weekend

De’Aaron Fox’s plans for the All-Star break have been altered.

The Kings rookie point guard was added to Friday’s Rising Stars game in Los Angeles on the U.S. Team, replacing Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball, who has missed 13 games with a sprained MCL in his left knee.

Fox is the third King to be selected for the game that showcases some of the NBA’s best rookies and second-year players. Rookie Bogdan Bogdanovic and second-year guard Buddy Hield are on the World Team.

The Kings hadn’t had a player in the game since Isaiah Thomas in 2013.
