The Sacramento Kings are waiving guard Ben McLemore, according to The Athletic’s Sam Amick. The move opens an additional roster spot for the Kings.
The Kings are waiving Ben McLemore, per source. The sixth-year guard who was drafted 7th overall by the Kings in 2013, then had a stop in Memphis in between, will be on to his next stop.

McLemore was originally drafted by the Kings in 2013. He spent the 2017-18 season with the Memphis Grizzlies before being traded back to Sacramento this past summer as part of the Kings’ return for Garrett Temple.
