The Sacramento Kings today announced that they have waived guard Marshall Henderson and forward Vince Hunter. With the cuts, Sacramento's roster now sits at 16 players. The Kings already have 14 guaranteed players on the roster with the only players with unguaranteed deals being forward Eric Moreland and guard David Stockton.
Henderson and Hunter were never expected to make this Kings team, but that doesn't necessarily mean that their time with Sacramento is over. NBA rules dictate that the final three cuts from an NBA's training camp roster can be assigned to that team's D-League affiliate: in this case, the Reno Bighorns.
