The Sacramento Kings began their run in the Las Vegas Summer League on Saturday against the Phoenix Suns. The Kings have already played three summer league games in the California Classic, but Vegas is the premier event of the offseason.
The opener had a bit of particular significance as it was a battle of the top two draft picks from last month. The Suns selected DeAndre Ayton first overall and Kings fans know Marvin Bagley III was the second selection.
Unfortunately, Sacramento struggled on offense in Saturday’s game and lost 71-63 to the Suns.
