The Sacramento Kings met with (up to) 18 prospects at the 2015 NBA Draft Combine in Chicago this week.
Names are still trickling out, but Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee confirmed that the Kings have talked to Kentucky big man Willie Cauley-Stein, Kentucky power forward Trey Lyles, and Murray State point guard Cameron Payne.
Willie Cauley-Stein is a personal favorite of mine, and out of Cauley-Stein, Lyles, and Payne, Willie is the only one projected to go in that top-10 range where the Kings will be selecting provided they don’t trade the pick.
The NBA Draft Lottery is on Tuesday, May 19th, and we’ll have a better idea of where the Kings will be selecting after that.
