After six weeks, the Sacramento Kings have reportedly hired a trio of assistant coaches to Luke Walton’s staff, despite questions lingering about Luke Walton’s future with the team.
Bob Beyer, Jesse Mermuys and Roy Rana have been hired by the Sacramento Kings, a move that was first reported by The Athletic’s Sam Amick and confirmed by multiple Kings reporters. The report also notes that fan-favorite Bobby Jackson will stay onboard as a member of the player development staff.
The search lasted six weeks, beginning after the Kings announced former Los Angeles Lakers head coach Luke Walton as their head coach on April 15.
