The Sacramento Kings begin a six-game road trip tonight as they travel to face the Memphis Grizzlies. Zach Randolph and Vince Carter return to their most recent basketball homes to face former Kings Tyreke Evans and Ben McLemore. It is also a reunion for Coach Joerger as the Grizzlies were his first head coaching gig in the league and he spent nine seasons there.
Tonight is the second of three meetings between the two teams. Last time out, the Grizzlies traveled to Sacramento and laid the smack down on the Kings. Tyreke Evans led the way with 26 points in the 114-96 Memphis victory on New Year’s Eve.
