After selecting Justin James with the 40th pick in the draft, the Sacramento Kings were not done. With Vlade Divac having two picks (47th & 60th) left in the event, two more players were projected to be chosen by Sacramento at the end of the night.
But when the Kings were on the clock at the #47 spot, Vlade threw a curveball. Instead, he made a trade with the New York Knicks that gave the Kings the 55th pick and cash in exchange for the 47th pick. When the 55th pick came along, the Kings decided to go with Kyle Guy from the University of Virginia.
