Russell Westbrook will make his return Monday against the Sacramento Kings after missing the last six games, Oklahoma City Thunder coach Billy Donovan said.
Westbrook sprained his left ankle in the second half on Nov. 5 against the New Orleans Pelicans. He was upgraded to questionable on Monday afternoon following shootaround and after responding well, made the decision to play.
Westbrook returned to full contact practice on Friday and appeared set to return against the Phoenix Suns on Saturday, but left following shootaround to fly to Los Angeles for the births of his twin daughters later that night.
