From 1998-2004, Chris Webber helped lead the Sacramento Kings to the most successful run in franchise history. The Kings made the playoffs in each of C-Webb’s six seasons with the team, making the Western Conference Finals in 2002.
After former teammate Vlade Divac stepped down as Sacramento’s vice president of basketball operations and general manager after five years, Webber is looking forward to what the future holds for the Kings.
Webber is now an analyst with TNT and is locked in the NBA bubble in Orlando, Florida. He told The Athletic’s Jason Jones that he’s excited to see what Divac’s replacement —Joe Dumars—can do to turn the franchise around.
