The Sacramento Kings keep wheeling and dealing. The team has traded Ray McCallum to the San Antonio Spurs for a future second round pick, according to ESPN’s Marc Stein.
McCallum was drafted 36th overall out of Detroit Mercy in 2013, the same class as his friend Ben McLemore. For the past two seasons, the 24-year-old began the year buried on the depth chart and emerged by April as the Kings starter. In 2014-15, McCallum appeared in 68 games (30 starts) and produced 7.4 points, 2.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 0.7 steals and 1.3 turnovers in 21.
