The Sacramento Kings have signed Marshall Henderson to a training camp contract, according to Yahoo! Sports’ Marc Spears.
The 24-year-old Henderson averaged 17.2 points on 36.9 percent shooting, 1.6 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.8 turnovers in 96 NCAA appearances. The 6-foot-2, 180-pounder who attended Utah, South Plains College and Ole Miss from 2009-2014 launched a head-turning 10.1 3-pointers per game at a 34.4 percent clip.
Henderson is no stranger to controversy. The outspoken personality served a brief suspension for Ole Miss in fall 2013 for a drug offense, which sealed his fate going undrafted in 2014.
