After the long wait to watch Georgios Papagiannis play tonight against the Toronto Raptors, we will have to wait because there has been a minor setback for the young 7-footer.
This came directly from the Kings:
SACRAMENTO, CA —- Sacramento Kings rookie center Georgios Papagiannis will undergo a precautionary MRI tomorrow after experiencing left knee stiffness this week.
He will miss tonight’s summer league contest in Las Vegas against the Toronto Raptors and his status will be updated on Saturday afternoon when results become available.
As you can see, it is precautionary and I would be as careful as possible because big men who have had knee or leg injuries/issues have taken longer to recover.
