NBA Draft prospect Luka Doncic has become one of the more controversial players available this year. Many mocks have him selected by the Sacramento Kings. Others place him as the top pick to the Phoenix Suns. ESPN’s latest mock draft has him somewhat controversially falling out of the top two entirely.
Doncic slipping is consistent with recent reports that the Kings may be thinking about passing over Doncic in favor of an American frontcourt player. Although these reports seem to be coming from just one guy at ESPN (Jonathan Givony), it’s reasonable to be anxious right now.
