Beyond entertainment, sports also can serve as a vehicle for change in culture, politics and life in general. This is an idea that former Kings great Chris Webber has been exploring in his weekly podcast “Fearless or Insane”.
Recently, Webber spoke one-on-one on his show with the son of two Civil Rights legends. Martin Luther King III joined C-Webb to discuss a host of ideas, including his drive to continue honoring the legacy of his parents, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King.
“Both of them dedicated their lives, I believe, to what my father would have defined as eradicating the triple evils,” King III said to Webber during the in-depth interview.
