The Sacramento Kings have 16 players under contract, including a pair of two-way players in Kyle Guy and DaQuan Jeffries.
Under normal circumstances, Guy and Jeffries’ seasons would end on the final day of the regular season because two-way players aren’t eligible for playoffs unless their contracts are converted to standard NBA contracts. While Guy and Jeffries could still ink a partially guaranteed NBA deal before the season ends, it will no longer be a requirement for them to play in the postseason.
According to a report from Shams Charania of The Athletic, the NBA will permit teams to bring a maximum of 17 players to Orlando.
